01What we collect

• Location. ArchSpy sends your device location to our server to find and identify buildings near you. It is never saved with an identifier and never written to our logs. So that the same lookup is not repeated, our server keeps the results of a lookup made from your location, the buildings and historic records around it, for about a week before deleting them.
• Camera. The augmented-reality view uses your camera to show information over what you see. Camera imagery is processed on your device and is not stored or transmitted by us.
• Email. If you join the "want your city" list or contact support, we collect the email you provide — to reply and to tell you when ArchSpy reaches your city. Optional.
• Purchases. Subscriptions, unlocks, and tips are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of a purchase but never your card details.
• Usage. To understand how much ArchSpy is used, the app carries a random ID that our server issues when you first open it. It contains nothing about you, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking or advertising. Deleting the app deletes it. With it we count how often the app shows a building or searches nearby, which app version sent the request, and which buildings are viewed most. The usage records never contain your location. Records for an install unused for over a year are deleted. When an ID is issued, our server keeps your network address briefly in memory to limit how often IDs can be issued; it is not saved with your ID or in the usage records.

02How we use it

To provide and improve the app, process purchases, respond to you, and — only if you've asked — let you know when ArchSpy reaches your city. We do not sell your personal data.

03Who we share it with

Service providers that make the app work: Apple and Google (distribution, payments, email), [Stripe / PayPal / Ko-fi]. They handle data only to provide their service.

04Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

05Your choices

• Turn off location access in your device settings (core features need it to find nearby buildings).
• Unsubscribe from the city list using the link in any email.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing thewheelqueen@gmail.com.

06Children

ArchSpy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

07Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
