  Source: New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission — "Individual Landmark and Historic District Building Database" (NYC Open Data dataset gpmc-yuvp) and "Individual Landmark Boundaries" (the Commission's own ArcGIS feature service) — queried live. ArchSpy surfaces selected fields only, and presents some of them in modified form: designation dates are reformatted from the published timestamp, the designation status and landmark number are composed into one line, a building inside a designated site is described in ArchSpy's own words rather than the Commission's, and column names are replaced with plain-English labels. Field values are otherwise reproduced as published. Photographs shown from designation reports are credited to the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. Public data sets made available on NYC Open Data are provided for informational purposes.
